Thinking Times
Happy Good Friday!!!
How much does God Love You?
Too many Christians today just passing through life, living a safe and ordinary Christian life, but lacking the true power and influence that Jesus had in this world.
How did that happen? How did that happen when we were once totally radical for Jesus but succumbed to just a quiet peaceful life with very little power and influence?
We often talk about the Love of God and how much he loves us. We debate the meaning of his love. We argue over what his love means. But do we ever totally totally stop just to spend some “Thinking times” to let God show us, how much he loves us?
Jesus Loves His Creation Which is You
If you take some time to stop, turn off the TV, and the computer games, and quiet all of the distractions to think about how God created me so uniquely, so differently and so special. You will soon appreciate how it was only he who could have created you with a unique personality, unique DNA, unique fingerprint, and a unique personality like no one else in this entire universe. He even knew you and formed you Jeremiah 1:5“
Before I formed you in the womb I knew[a] you, before you were born I set you apart.
Psalm 139:13-18
13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God! How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you.
Too many of us just rush through life and pass this by.
How much does Jesus love YOU?
He loves you so much that he was willing to come to earth and live an innocent life and experience the most excruciating death known to mankind, to pay for your sins, so that he could purchase you back so that he could live with you throughout eternity.
As the old hymn says:
Amazing love! How can it be That Thou, my God, should die for me?
Thinking time Questions.
- What makes me so unique compared to anyone in this entire world?
- Can I write in a single paragraph of how God has gifted me and what he did to make me so unique, special, and different than anyone else in this entire world?
- What do I see also in others that reveals that each of us is so unique and different from anyone else in this entire world?
- Did Jesus really die for me so that he could have me with him and live with me throughout eternity?
- How much does he love me that he would die the most excruciating humiliating death for me, just so that he could have me with him for eternity?
Does GOD really think of ME every day?
What kind of thoughts does God have for me?
Enjoy your Thinking Times
